Auramine O Certified is a yellow crystalline powder of laboratory grade with the following molecular formula C17H21N3Cl. This diarylmethane dye is a yellow-colored, water-soluble, ethanol-soluble diarylmethane dye with various other names, including Basic Yellow 2, Pyocatanium aureum and 4,47(Imidocarbonyl)bis(N,N-dimethylaniline) monohydrochloride.
